Shelia Gremory's Peerage

The following is a list of characters from Shelia Gremory's peerage.

Plot

Introduced in Volume 1 as the Occult Research Club, the team originally had three members consisting of Shelia, Amelia, and Ryuuta. At the end of Volume 1, the number in Shelia's peerage increased to a total of six after the inclusion of Ichijou, Elaine and Diaochan.

After the events of Volume 4, the team battles against several, recently revived legendary beasts, that is until the arrival of Ashe Elizabeth Lucifer, Sasha Blackstone and Adolf Medici who beats close to fifty different beasts with ease, and abducts the revived, Cretan Bull. In the end they gain yet another member in the form of Annabelle Nosferatu as their second Knight, a former Dhampyr and a natural-born Holy Sword Wielder.

In Volume 6, the Gremory team were scheduled to go up against Maria Bael and her peerage; however, this did not happen due to the interference of the New Khaos Brigade and Pharus Beelzebub. Nevertheless, both the Gremory and Bael teams still battled against Pharus in order to rescue their kidnapped member, Elaine.

In Volume 19, for the International Rating Game tournament the Alliance Cup with Ichijou, Elaine, Diaochan and Annabelle forming their own team, Shelia fills some of the newly vacant spots with Kurenai Himejima, Vesper Amakusa, Selene Vladi, Quetzalcoatl, and Ewald Cristaldi.

Members

As of the current volume of High School DxD: Artificiality, Shelia's Peerage consists of 8 members: one King, one Queen, one Bishop, two Knights, two Rooks, and one Pawn.

Shelia Gremory (King)	Ichijou Hyoudou (Queen, Mutation piece)
The youngest child and second daughter of Grandmaster Millicas Gremory and the neo-satan Seillais Mammon, Shelia is also the youngest King of her generation and a master in the use of her lineage's signature Power of Destruction, Gravity Maelstrom and Charisma abilities.	Dubbed 'The Oppai Eater' and 'The Hyoudou Sword Prodigy', Ichijou is the male protagonist in High School DxD: Artificiality. He is a genetic clone of the deceased Issei Hyoudou Gremory created by Ajuka Beelzebub and Kurenai Himejima. He is the current host of the Sacred Gear Boosted Gear, one of the 13 Longinus, making him the living legacy of the previous Sekiryuutei and Ichijou's Gene Progenitor, Issei Hyoudou. Other then the Boosted Gear, Ichijou's main weaponry consists of the Cursed Holy-Demonic and Transcendent Swords Brynhildr and Dragvandil, as well as his great skills in swordsmanship and basic magic knowledge. Thanks to the spirit of Issei, Ichijou also unlocked the original Balance Breaker, allowing him to don the original Scale Mail armor.
Elaine Ambrosius (Bishop, Mutation piece)	Liu Feng (Bishop)
The descendent of Merlin Ambrosius, Elaine is a half-grim reaper hybrid with the typical powers of such as well as great magical powers and affinity. She is named the 'Emrys Prodigy', due to her power and potential as a witch stronger then Merlin. She possesses the Sacred Gear, Grimoire Hollow, which allows her to create and manipulate shadows.	The descendent of the original Liu Feng from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, who joined the group after an unnamed accident involving her, the Jade palace and a monkey fighting giant onis. A lazy and carefree but well-intentioned and hard-working lass, Liu Feng is master in both Touki and chi control as well as senjutsu.
Ryuuta Tatsumi (Knight)	Annabelle Nosferatu (Knight)
The former heir of the Tatsumi clan, and the possessor of the Sacred Beast, Hwang-Ryong, one of the children of the Yellow Dragon.	Birthname Reika, a ninja from the infamous Hidden village in the Hot Springs and the daughter of the village leader Haruka and the current king of the Nosferatu Faction. Arrogant, snarky and also a sore-loser, but supportive, friendly and care-free, Annabelle is a natural born holy-sword wielder, and expert in forms of shinto magic and techniques such as ninjutsu and senjutsu.
Diaochan (Rook)	Horokeu (Rook)
The descendent of the original Diaochan, one of the Four Beauties of ancient China from the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, level-headed and kind, although she's unable to talk since even her voice can cause harm to devils. Being an exorcist, Diaochan can seal practically anything from fire to even words and images, and have her own type of magic which consists in binding spells and forms of senjutsu.	The youngest child of an famous family of Dragon tamers, and the current possessor of one of the children of the clan's Sacred Beast, Kyurem.
Amelia Crossfield (Pawn x8)
The so-called Maid of Ichijou and the Hyoudou Residence, Amelia is the last living member of a famous family of witches who was hunted down by demon-hunters under the rumour that her family was leaking information about the Three Powers to ExE, ending up at japanese chores and disguising herself as a black cat in order to find shelter, becoming the maid of the new Hyoudou Residence. Perverted and slow-minded, but well-intentioned, polite and hard-worker, she's an expert in her family, the Campbell's, special fire magic and transformation magic.

Allies & Affiliations

Yoko

The daughter of the Kanto region's supernatural faction is one of the first allies of Shelia's peerage, as well as Ichijou's proclaimed 'first wife', as she wants him because of his infinite potential and raw power for being the Sekiryuutei. A first-rate senjutsu user, she's always around to help the group, as well as make a dirty joke around her proclaimed 'husbando'. As such, the supernatural youkai faction from kanto is also allied to the said group.

Nemesis Gremory and Peerage

The peerage lead by Shelia's older sister and second oldest sibling Nemesis. The first peerage the group went against in a Rating Game, despite the sisters's rivalry, the rest of the group have a pretty stable and strong friendship, since they only know each other through conflicts, but none of them holds a grudge against each other. They would later train the younger peerage in order for them to survive the 22-Arcana Challenge.

Trivia

• All three male members of Shelia's peerage possess Sacred Gears.
• Currently, among the eight members of Shelia's peerage, the four with Sacred Gears (Ichijou, Eri, Horokeu, and Amelia) were brought back from death or near death through reincarnation. While the other three (Tatsumi, Diaochan and Annabelle) joined through their own volition.
